The Sport in Mind Network

The Sport in Mind Network is a national community uniting organisations and individuals who are committed to transforming the way mental health is understood, supported, and championed through sport and physical activity.

By joining, you become part of a growing community of change - a collective working to shift the narrative, share best practice, amplify impact, and ensure mental health is prioritised across every level of the sector.

We believe in a world where every mind can thrive through sport.

The Network brings together practitioners, clubs, national bodies, community organisations, researchers, coaches, and advocates who want to drive meaningful, lasting improvement in mental health across the sport and physical activity landscape.

As part of the network we will be delivering exclusive webinars, workshops, lunch and learns, quarterly newsletters, networking events and much more.

Our network has three main aims:

INSPIRE: Make Sports Truly Inclusive

By working together, we create safe, supportive and inclusive opportunities for people experiencing mental health challenges to be physically active - inspiring the nation to move more through partnership and collaboration. Click here to learn more.

EDUCATE: Educate and Empower

By providing practical tools, shared learnings and expert-led webinars and events - embedding evidence‑informed mental health practice across the sector. Click here to learn more.

INFLUENCE: Raise Awareness and Challenge Stigma

Using evidence led insight, we will help the sports community shift how we talk about mental health, challenge stigma and influence lasting change. Click here to learn more.
