Sport in Mind would not exist without the kindness of our amazing volunteers, who dedicate their time to supporting our charity in all different ways from helping out at our sports sessions to clerical work and fundraising. By volunteering with Sport in Mind you'll be making a huge difference to the lives of local people experiencing mental health problems.

We aren't necessarily looking for a sports superstar - the main skills we look for in volunteers is the ability to be  approachable, friendly, and engaging as we find this provides the maximum benefit to our attendees. We are able to offer ongoing training opportunities for our volunteers which enable you to build your knowledge base around sport, physical activity and mental health.
